Michelangelo painted images depicting stories from the book of Genesis, in the Bible, on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. He lay down or stood on scaffolding, painting with his hands above his head. Today we re-enacted the painting of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The children chose their favourite book and drew an image depicting the story. They stuck a sheet of paper underneath their desk and lying on the ground, they drew their picture on the paper. The process was tiresome but the finished products were quite impressive!
