We were delighted to welcome Ian Fewer from Fewer, Harrington and Partners to our classroom recently, where he gave the children an engaging and informative talk about his career as an architect.
Ian shared the story of his own journey, explaining how he followed his passion and worked hard to achieve his goals. The visit gave us a fascinating insight into the work architects do and tied in beautifully with Engineering Week, helping the children see real-life connections between their learning and future careers.
The class thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I was especially impressed by the thoughtful questions the children asked Ian, which showed just how curious and interested they were in learning about his work and experiences.
