Last week, NJS celebrated Active School Week, an annual national initiative that promotes physical activity and wellbeing among students. The week was packed with fun, energy, and a wonderful sense of community spirit in NJS!
Highlights included playground games led by our enthusiastic house captains, a special visit from Waterford City F.C. Women’s Team, and a walk to The People’s Park—with a surprise stop at the playground that everyone loved. Students also enjoyed athletics with Mickey, a whole-school “Rock the Boat” dance session, and a lively tug of war between 6th class and the teachers (we’ll keep quiet about who won that one!).
A huge thank you to Ms. Stapleton for her incredible work in organising such a memorable week. Great fun was had by all!
